Super Ukiyo-e “EDO CODE”

Ukiyo-e is the popular form of mass entertainment in the Edo period that depicted all kinds of social aspects such as food, fashion, manners customs, and romance. Using the magnificent collection of Ukiyo-e from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the venue was covered in digitally enlarged and animated artwork, through which, we were able to unlock the long-forgotten secrets (EDO CODE). The voice guide was performed by 6th generation Kabuki actor, Ainosuke Kataoka. The digital contents were created by the creative team from Prism.
